We have set up this fund in memory of a wonderful man Bill,treasured husband, dad and grandad who was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis in November 2007. He was a true gentleman who loved just being with his family. He enjoyed his garden and doing the Times crossword every morning. He had a smile for everyone and always managed to brighten your day. Sadly Bill passed away suddenly on 14th November 2008 less than 24 hours after returning from holiday. He will be so sadly missed by us all. 15th May 2009 ( Bill's Birthday) Thank you to all who have given money for the fund. Total now stands at £912.00 16th September 2009 Thanks to further donations, raffle ticket sales and garden party funds the TOTAL amount raised so far is .. £1817,20 This means we are now only £182.80 away from our target and a tree to be planted in memory of Bill. Please keep donating to this fund and support the British Lung Foundation. 5/2/10 TREE DEDICATION We have now received a certificate and map from the woodland trust for a tree dedicated in memory of Bill at Goltho Wood in Wragby Lincolnshire. To keep the woods as natural as possible the tree will not be marked in any way 17/07/10 Coffee morning at Margarets 10.30am - 2.30pm Cake stall, preserves, tombola, raffle .............Everyone welcome! please see Events list on this page for more details 4/9/2011 Abby Holly and Bryn held a tombola whilst on holiday to raise funds for their Grandad's fund. They made £4.95. Very well done to all three of them.
